They do

  • Identifies the kind of document, such as a utility bill or a bank statement
  • Reads the text and pulls out details such as name, address and date
  • Checks those details against rules you set, with a pass or fail and the reason
  • Flags any detail it could not read confidently, so a person can look

  • Confirm that a document is genuine, or detect forgery
